As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will be a key contributor to the web frontend of our annotation and quality platform - a complex, multi-role product used daily by annotators, quality analysts, ML engineers, and internal partners worldwide. You have a mature eye for design systems. You can articulate why a pattern works, spot where an evolving product breaks established conventions, and translate visual and interaction language into guidance that an engineering team can actually use. You are as comfortable reasoning through a component architecture as you are in a design critique - and you bring both rigour and taste to each. That same rigor extends to your engineering craft - you hold a high bar for performance, testing, and architectural soundness in everything you ship. You work well in interdisciplinary settings, and you bring product judgment to them - asking who uses a feature and what they're trying to get done before settling implementation details, and following up after launch through usage data and real conversations with users to learn what worked. Responsibilities * Build high-quality web interfaces - including agentic UI experiences like task editors and real-time review flow - using React and modern web standards, as part of a collaborative frontend team * Partner with product designers as a peer from early product thinking through pixel-perfect delivery - questioning requirements that don't serve the end-to-end user experience, not just implementing them * Contribute to a shared component library and design system, and proactively flag where product evolution breaks established design patterns * Lead the frontend workstream on cross-functional projects - coordinating across design, backend, ML, and product from planning through delivery * Own frontend performance and observability end-to-end - profiling, bundle-size budgets, Core Web Vitals, instrumentation, and error tracking - so the platform stays fast and reliable as it scales * Establish testing discipline across the frontend stack and evolve the build/tooling stack to keep shipping fast and confident * Contribute actively to code and architecture reviews; help raise the team's technical bar; support the growth of fellow engineers
