## About the Role

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

 * 7+ years of QA/API Testing experience.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and REST API testing.
 * Experience in API automation using Java + Rest Assured or Python-based frameworks.
 * Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
 * Experience with JSON, XML, OAuth, JWT, API security validation, and microservices architecture.
 * Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
 * Experience with defect management tools such as Jira., BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

## Description

* Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of RESTful APIs and microservices.
 * Design, develop, and execute API test cases using Postman, Swagger, and automation frameworks.
 * Validate request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms, status codes, error handling, and data integrity.
 * Execute backend testing using SQL against relational databases.
 * Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, DevOps, and Product teams during Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
 * Participate in test planning, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and release validation.
 * Develop and maintain automated API test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
