Acting as the technical authority for network engineering, you will ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, operational needs, and long-term technology strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of technical design capability, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement and people development. What you'll be doing Lead the design of network solutions. Produce and review high-level and low-level network designs. Define network architectures that meet availability, scalability, resilience, security and supportability requirements. Ensure network designs align with enterprise architecture standards and design patterns. Drive network lifecycle planning including technology refresh, capacity growth and platform evolution. Perform technical assurance and design governance activities. Review solution designs produced by engineers, suppliers and third-party partners. Ensure operational support requirements are incorporated into solution designs from inception. Collaborate with solution architects and security architects to create integrated end-to-end solutions. Balance technical, commercial and operational considerations when making design decisions. Lead technical investigations, proof of concepts and technology evaluations. Establish network design principles, standards, blueprints and reference architectures.
