## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
 * 15+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multiple teams or PODs.
 * Proven track record leading large-scale, complex software programs involving cross-functional teams.
 * Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
 * Prior experience working in a matrixed organization with distributed teams.
 * Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.)
 * Strong hands-on full stack development experience with all latest technologies

## Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director of Application Development to join our Global Payments & Trade - AMP team. This role is in New York, NY

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

 * Lead the development and delivery of Core Banking solution leveraging Vendor and in-house capabilities.
 * Lead and oversee multiple application development teams and PODs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery timelines.
 * Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, high-quality software solutions across the full technology stack.
 * Collaborate with product management, UX/UI, QA, and other stakeholders to define and deliver product roadmaps.
 * Establish best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
 * Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
 * Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and project prioritization across multiple concurrent programs.
 * Ensure robust security, performance, and compliance standards are met in all applications.
