## About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead technology initiatives aimed at improving platform resiliency, recoverability, and fault tolerance across our electronic trading platforms. This position involves designing and implementing scalable architectures capable of supporting growing trading volumes and high throughput demands. The successful candidate will drive observability improvements, modernize platform architectures using cloud-native and event-driven practices, and establish engineering standards for mission-critical systems., Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed electronic trading platforms.

Technical Skills: Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Python development within high-performance, mission-critical environments. Proven experience designing and implementing low-latency and Zero-architectures, with a deep understanding of JVM performance tuning, memory management, and garbage collection optimization. Strong knowledge of data structures, data modeling, memory layouts, concurrency, and computer architecture fundamentals. Strong expertise in platform resiliency, observability, performance engineering, and scalability. Experience with microservices, APIs, messaging platforms, and event-driven architectures., * Strong experience with AMPS messaging architecture, including resiliency, failover, capacity planning, monitoring, and performance optimization.

 * Experience leveraging AI-assisted software development lifecycle tools to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, and enhance engineering efficiency.
 * Knowledge of trading workflows, Request for Quote platforms, pricing engines, and electronic execution systems.

* Lead technology initiatives to improve platform resiliency, recoverability, and fault tolerance across eCredit and Portfolio Trading platforms.
 * Design and implement scalable architectures capable of supporting growing trading volumes and throughput demands.
 * Drive observability improvements through monitoring, telemetry, alerting, distributed tracing, and operational analytics.
 * Develop capacity management and performance engineering strategies to proactively identify and address system bottlenecks.
 * Modernize platform architecture through cloud-native, event-driven, and automation-first engineering practices.
 * Enhance messaging infrastructure and data distribution platforms, including AMPS-based architectures.
 * Analyze production incidents and recurring issues to deliver strategic architectural improvements and reduce operational risk.
 * Establish engineering standards, architecture patterns, and best practices for mission-critical trading systems.
