## About the Role

Apex Systems a long with their client in South Florida is sourcing for a Data Product Owner. The ideal candidate will have experience working hands on in data governance, data solutions, and data engineering. Please see the details of the position below, and apply if interested!, * Hands-on Product Owner experience in a data, analytics, data platform, engineering, lakehouse, BI, or closely related technical environment.

 * Deep practical command of Agile delivery and Azure DevOps, including board setup, backlog management, epics/features/stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectives.
 * Self-directed leadership and communication skills to standardize teams at different maturity levels, work effectively with engineers, and serve as the organization's primary PO / Agile expert.
Important Profile Distinction

 * This is not a traditional project-manager role focused only on schedules and roadmaps.
 * The person must personally manage Agile execution and artifacts while also applying an ownership mindset to evolving data platforms and services.
 * Candidates without meaningful data-domain experience are less aligned, even if they have extensive general Product Owner experience.

## Description

* Three data-management areas with different Agile maturity levels and no consistent organization-wide backlog structure today.
 * The role supports platform teams rather than a single, neatly defined product or value stream.
 * Some teams are familiar with Agile, while others need foundational coaching, structure, and hands-on support.
