One client may be scaling AI workloads across Kubernetes environments running on AWS or Azure, while another is redesigning its platform architecture around event-driven systems, enterprise AI assistants or modern RAG applications. Because every environment is different, you continuously expand your experience across cloud-native infrastructure, automation, security and distributed systems instead of remaining locked into the same stack for years. You work closely together with Software Engineers, Data Engineers and AI specialists inside multidisciplinary squads, combining hands-on engineering with architectural thinking. The work remains highly practical and engineering-driven. One week you may improve CI/CD and GitOps flows for a cloud-native platform, while the next you help design scalable infrastructure for AI systems that must operate securely and reliably in production. What makes this environment especially valuable is the combination of technical depth, growth and exposure. You work across AWS, Azure and GCP environments, collaborate with highly skilled engineers and stay close to where cloud engineering, platform engineering and AI infrastructure are rapidly heading. At the same time, you directly experience the impact of your work by collaborating closely with clients both remotely and on-site. Combined with a strong engineering culture, knowledge sharing, internal academy programs, a modern Amsterdam office and roughly 50% remote work, this is an environment where ambitious cloud engineers can significantly accelerate their development over the coming years. ## Related Videos - [Infrastructure as Code: The Developer's Secret Weapon](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1221-infrastructure-as-code-the-developer-s-secret-weapon) - [The Cloud is Calling: Answer with In-Demand Skills](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/945-the-cloud-is-calling-answer-with-in-demand-skills) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) - [Understanding Kubernetes in a visual way](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100085-understanding-kubernetes-in-a-visual-way) - [Terraform for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/3-terraform-for-developers) - [Implementing Feature Environments with AWS and Terraform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/531-implementing-feature-environments-with-aws-and-terraform) ## Related Articles - [How to Find Tech Jobs in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/279-how-to-find-tech-jobs-in-amsterdam) - [7 Cloud Computing Trends Coming in 2025 for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/412-7-cloud-computing-trends-coming-in-2025-for-developers) - [How to land a developer job in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/36-how-to-land-a-developer-job-in-amsterdam) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023)
