* 5+ years of software development experience in enterprise applications
 * 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer in Java-based technologies including microservices, FAST API and spring boot framework/REST
 * 4+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies such as; AWS, GCP, Azure and able to develop applications in those technologies
 * 3+ years of experience with relational databases such as AWS RDS or AWS Aurora and exposure to no-sql databases such as MongoDB
 * 3+ years of hands-on experience in building CI-CD deployment pipelines in Github Actions
 * Ability to develop effective engineering practices and processes with design and development
 * 3+ years of experience in Agile development practices, * Experience in building software applications for high volume enterprise ecosystem
 * Experience in working with Cloud platform based development and Cloud native services preferably in AWS
 * Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
 * Adept at building Developing Test Automation as part of the SDLC
 * Adept at ownership, collaboration and teamwork
 * Ability to adopt AI as part of the Software development and delivery
 * Adept at problem solving and decision making skills

## Description

CVS-Aetna is looking for a dynamic Senior Software Development Engineer to be part of our Agile Product Team and work with the team to build high-quality, usable products to customers and stakeholders in the Claims organization for Aetna business. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will help educate both business and technology personnel on the agile development process and create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery. You will also maintain a user-centered and business-as-priority approach in design perspective and practice. A firm understanding of software development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role. The candidate should be able to develop both frontend and backend code utilizing industry best practices delivering efficient, optimized, user friendly and reusable code.
