## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience in Java development (10+ years).
 * Experience in building 24x7 active-active, highly available platforms.
 * Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Maven, and Jenkins.
 * Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Bitbucket, Crowd, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, SonarQube, Artifactory, and XLR.
 * Strong experience in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
 * Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments.
 * Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Agile at Scale frameworks.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have

 * Experience in Data Engineering and data pipeline development.
 * Prior exposure to Investment Banking / Financial Services IT domain., BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

## Description

* Design and develop highly available, fault-tolerant active-active systems to meet SLA and regulatory requirements.
 * Deliver new features and enhancements for existing enterprise applications.
 * Take end-to-end ownership of delivery across: * Requirements gathering
 * Solution design
 * Development and testing
 * Deployment and production support
 * Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure, and production support teams to ensure application stability.
 * Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
 * Contribute to the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues ensuring minimal downtime.
 * Participate in release cycles, deployments, and post-production support activities.
 * Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
 * Drive continuous improvements in system resilience and operational efficiency.
 * Communicate effectively with stakeholders on status, risks, and deliverables.
