## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
 * 10+ years of progressive technology/software engineering experience
 * 3+ years of technical leadership or people management experience
 * Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile practices
 * Experience leading teams responsible for enterprise-scale applications
 * Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
 * Experience with relational databases and SQL
 * Experience with cloud-based application development
 * Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
 * Experience with containers and modern application deployment practices
 * Experience designing and integrating APIs
 * Experience modernizing legacy applications or transitioning to newer architectures
 * Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

 * Azure or comparable public cloud platform
 * Docker and Kubernetes
 * Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation/IaC tooling
 * Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD platforms
 * Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms
 * Application security and DevSecOps practices
 * Automated testing and software reliability practices
 * Experience leading large-scale application modernization initiatives

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers responsible for building and supporting modern enterprise applications and digital platforms.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can develop people, improve engineering processes, contribute technically, and work closely with product, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams., * Lead and develop a team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack software engineers

 * Provide technical direction while remaining involved in architecture, design, and complex engineering decisions
 * Drive delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions
 * Establish engineering standards and improve development processes
 * Partner with Product, Architecture, DevOps, Security, and other technology teams
 * Lead application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
 * Support Agile development practices and modern CI/CD processes
 * Help define technical roadmaps aligned with business priorities
 * Oversee hiring, coaching, performance management, and development of engineering talent
 * Manage project priorities, delivery timelines, technical risks, and team capacity
 * Promote automation, testing, reliability, and continuous improvement
 * Communicate technical strategy, progress, and risks to both technical and business stakeholders
