## About the Role

* 5+ years of Systems Administration experience supporting Windows Server environments.
 * 3+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
 * Experience applying STIGs, security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
 * Experience supporting VMware virtualization environments, backups, and disaster recovery operations.
 * Experience managing Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and domain architecture.
 * Experience working with Splunk administration, including indexers, search heads, and dashboard creation.
 * CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 Level II certification.
 * Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including Cisco switches and routers.
Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience operating within NISPOM, RMF, STIG, or JSIG environments.
 * Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and SAN storage systems.
 * Experience with environmental monitoring tools such as Splunk, HBSS, and SolarWinds.
 * Experience creating and deploying system images.
 * Current DoD 8570 certification in a primary operating system (Windows, Linux, or Cisco).
 * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

## Description

* Support and administration of secure Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments within a DoD enterprise infrastructure.
 * Deploy, harden, patch, and remediate vulnerabilities on mission-critical systems in accordance with security compliance requirements.
 * Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to maintain system availability, performance, and security compliance.
