## Description

You'll help keep assigned projects on track by aligning people, priorities, and resources to deliver key milestones. You'll lead and develop a software engineering management team, strengthen coding and problem-solving capabilities, and help build a high-performing backend and core software organization for Mindbody. In this role, you'll partner closely with design and business teams to bring useful, usable, and customer-centered product experiences to life

 * Build and manage a talented backend development organization focused on delivering meaningful product features
 * Lead, coach, and develop software engineering managers and technical team members
 * Establish development metrics and regular processes for assessing performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
 * Create consistent project management and software development processes that support high-quality delivery in rapid iterations
 * Apply strong design, business, and technical judgment to accelerate releases while advancing long-term product goals
 * Champion software development excellence, customer centricity, and continuous improvement across the organization
 * Present and evangelize prototyped concepts to diverse audiences through both formal and informal presentations
 * Facilitate cross-functional teams, contribute to short- and long-term planning, and help resolve challenges constructively
