## About the Role

* Experience administering Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
 * Hands-on experience with physical infrastructure and hardware deployment.
 * Experience performing rack-and-stack installations within data center or enterprise environments.

## Description

The Systems Administrator 2 is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure through a combination of systems administration and hands-on data center operations. This roles requires experience with physical hardware installations, structured cabling, site surveys, and server deployment activities, along with foundational Windows and/or Linux administration skills. The ideal candidate is a technically proficient professional who enjoys both infrastructure planning and hands-on implementation in mission critical environments., * Install, configure, and maintain enterprise server and network infrastructure.

 * Perform rack-and-stack activities for servers, network equipment, and related hardware.
 * Execute and support structured cabling projects, including cable installations, labeling, testing, and documentation.
 * Develop, maintain, and validate Cable Run Lists (CRLs).
 * Conduct site surveys to assess infrastructure requirements, identify risks, and support implementation planning.
 * Support day-to-day systems administration activities within Windows and/or Linux environments.
 * Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, connectivity, and infrastructure-related issues.
 * Assist with equipment relocations, workstation moves, and infrastructure upgrades.
 * Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, cabling layouts, and deployment activities.
 * Collaborate with engineering, network, security, and operations teams to support infrastructure projects and operational initiatives.
 * Follow established processes and best practices for system installation, maintenance, and change management.
