## About the Role

* 13+ years of experience, including 10+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years on FISMA/RMF (Expert / Level IV or well-qualified Senior / Level III).
 * Led ATO packages (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring).
 * Zero Trust, TIC 3.0 and VA Handbook 6500 requirements.

Desired Skills:

 * Security architecture for AWS, Azure and OpenShift.
 * ICAM/PIV and identity federation.
 * Working with VA ISOs and the Office of Information Security.

Education:

 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field.
 * CISSP-ISSAP and CISSP-ISSEP.

Clearance:

 * Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Responsibilities:

 * Design Zero Trust and TIC 3.0-compliant security architecture across VAEC, AWS, Azure and OpenShift.
 * Lead RMF and A&A packages to obtain and keep ATOs (SSP, POA&M, continuous monitoring) per VA Handbook 6500.
 * Set standards for secure development, encryption, logging, ICAM/PIV and identity federation.
 * Coordinate with VA ISOs, the Office of Information Security and Field Security Services.
 * Track ATO status across the product line and report it monthly.
