## Description

Our client in the commercial insurance industry is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer / Architect to serve as the primary technical SME for a growing enterprise ServiceNow environment. This individual will play a key role in supporting the organization's expansion efforts following major business acquisitions that are significantly increasing the ServiceNow user base and platform demand.

This position will lead the architecture, development, governance, and modernization of the ServiceNow platform while partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the platform through new implementations, automation initiatives, CMDB enhancements, asset management programs, and enterprise integrations., * Lead the architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.

 * Develop and maintain business rules, script includes, UI actions, custom applications, workflows, and Flow Designer automations.
 * Design and support REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
 * Drive platform strategy and best practices across ITSM, CMDB, HAM, SAM, and future ServiceNow modules.
 * Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to define requirements and implementation roadmaps.
 * Establish and enforce platform governance, development standards, release processes, and technical documentation.
 * Lead platform upgrades, regression testing efforts, technical assessments, and remediation activities.
 * Manage technical enhancement and defect backlogs while ensuring high-quality delivery and deployment practices.
 * Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, mentoring, and escalation support for complex platform issues.
 * Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release management activities.
