## About the Role

This position may be filled at a Principal Systems Engineer level or at a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level

 * Requires a bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; or a master's degree with 3 years of related experience (Sr. Principal level requires 8 years with a bachelor's; or 6 years with a master's)
 * Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
 * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
 * Must have Mk21/Mk21A interface management experience

Preferred Qualifications

 * 3+ years experience with technical review boards.3+ years experience working with interfaces
 * 3+ years experience leading/supporting trade studies or tiger teams
 * 3+ years experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar
 * 3+ years experience working with Cameo or similar tools
 * 3+ years experience working with DOORS or similar tools
 * 3+ years experience working with Siemens Nx or similar tools
 * 3+ years experience working with USG stakeholders
 * Aerospace/Defense Industry experience

## Description

* This role will be a member of a team of system engineers who will continue to mature the interfaces products for the weapon system from Preliminary Design Review phase to a Critical Design Review and beyond.
 * Work in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
 * Responsible for leading and/or supporting the development of at least the following key interface artifacts:
 * Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
 * Interface Requirements & Verification Plans
 * Interface Logical and Physical Architecture
 * Interface Nx CAD Models
 * Interface Mentor Capital Wiring Diagrams
 * Demonstrate technical skills, organization, be an effective communicator, and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
 * Demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate.
 * Operate in a team environment and collaborate across the program as required to accomplish assigned and team taskings.
