## About the Role

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems, network engineering, cybersecurity, or infrastructure operations, preferably within federal government environments.

Technical Skills: Enterprise DNS Administration, Infoblox DDI, DNSSEC, IPAM, ISC BIND, TCP/IP Networking, VMware, Hyper-V, PowerShell, Linux/Unix Administration, Shell Scripting, Oracle Databases, Configuration Management, Root Cause Analysis, Tier III Support Operations, and Cybersecurity Compliance.

Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification (such as CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent) and a Computing Environment Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience supporting unclassified and classified enterprise network environments.
 * Experience with enterprise DNS architectures supporting global operations.
 * Knowledge of vulnerability remediation processes.
 * Experience with Solaris environments and security appliances.
 * Familiarity with Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise ticketing systems.

## Description

This organization is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a mission-critical enterprise network environment. The selected candidate will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for enterprise Domain Name System infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, systems engineering, and Tier III operational support across secure network environments. This position requires a strong blend of systems engineering, network infrastructure, and operational support expertise to ensure service availability and compliance., * Provide engineering, integration, implementation, and operational support for enterprise DNS infrastructure and related network services.

 * Support planning, design, testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements and technology upgrades.
 * Maintain configuration baselines and oversee enterprise infrastructure changes to ensure service availability and compliance.
 * Install, configure, and maintain servers, virtualized environments, databases, security appliances, and supporting technologies within secure lab and production environments.
 * Administer and support enterprise DNS services, including DNSSEC signing and validation.
 * Configure and manage Infoblox DDI platforms, Grid Management, and IP Address Management solutions.
 * Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for DNS-related issues and service outages.
 * Implement and maintain Risk Management Framework security controls and cybersecurity requirements.
 * Evaluate system vulnerabilities and support remediation activities associated with security findings.
 * Develop and maintain system diagrams, architecture documents, standard operating procedures, and technical guidance materials.
