## About the Role

* Associates or Bachelor's degree
 * Previous experience building and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure
 * Experience working with dynamic, highly collaborative teams, requiring close consultation and coordination.
 * Ability to produce high-quality work products and thorough documentation with attention to detail
 * Ability to visualize and solve complex problems
 * Preferred:
 + Azure Databricks, Azure Redhat OpenShift & Azure App Services experience
 + Working knowledge of python or similar coding languages
 + Azure Policy & Defender for Cloud experience

## Description

* Deploy, manage and support all levels of Azure Infrastructure - including virtual networking, storage, key vault, compute, identity, security and platform services.
 * Work with internal customers and the cloud operations team to deploy applications and services in the cloud
 * Evaluate, interpret and execute architectural designs, technical requirements against organizational standards.
 * Combine cloud-native technologies w/ established on-prem practices to support cloud migration efforts
 * Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools (Terraform).
 * Support a complex environment across multiple business units, subscriptions and services.
 * Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define and evolve cloud governance, operational processes, and best practices for running workloads securely and reliably in the cloud.
 * Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure related to connectivity, deployment and/or configuration.
 * Leverage private link services, NSGs, firewall, encryption, RBAC controls and managed identity in tandem with automation and monitoring to simplify and streamline security controls.
