## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.

Experience
Minimum:

 * 3 years of software or system engineering experience.

## Description

* Collaborate with staff to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of systems to fulfill business objectives and processes.
 * Design and deploy new systems and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
 * Conduct research on products and solutions to justify recommendations and support purchasing efforts.
 * Integrate systems into larger systems and/or enterprise systems.
 * Ensure system health and availability.
 * Create and maintain documentation related to configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
 * Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
 * Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
 * Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop and implement strategies to improve or further leverage these systems.
 * Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers and development teams.
 * Coordinate and perform in-depth testing, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
 * Support the definition of business requirements.
 * Support cost-benefit and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis.
 * Support the security audit process, system backup definition, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
