## About the Role

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and operate cloud infrastructure from concept through ongoing operations, with infrastructure-as-code as your core tool. You will manage containerized applications on AWS EKS, including operations, monitoring, and orchestration, and administer Windows and Linux servers along with networking components (VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, DNS). You'll standardize repetitive tasks through scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) and CI/CD pipeline development, and design your own minimum viable products and proof of concepts to evaluate new technologies.

What We Expect

· A completed vocational qualification as an IT specialist for system integration, a technical degree, or a comparable qualification, completed with strong results

· Solid experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Windows/Linux server administration, and cloud networking

· Knowledge of Git, GitLab, CI/CD strategies, Bash, Python, PowerShell, VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, and DNS

· A strong automation mindset, with high quality standards for documentation, security, and reliability

· Very good English language skills; German is a strong plus
