## About the Role

* British Citizen able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
 * Proven data engineering experience within defence, aerospace, manufacturing or another complex industrial environment
 * Strong Python and SQL expertise
 * Experience building ETL or ELT data pipelines and modern data platforms
 * Comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business areas, * Strong background in data engineering and enterprise data architecture
 * Experience with ETL and ELT tools alongside streaming technologies such as Spark or Kafka
 * Knowledge of relational and cloud data platforms including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake or similar technologies
 * Experience with Power BI and data visualisation best practice
 * Familiarity with DevOps or DataOps approaches including Git, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
 * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
