## About the Role

* Strong enterprise networking experience, particularly Cisco routing and switching.
 * Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XE, Cisco Nexus and Cisco UCS.
 * Proven experience implementing changes and upgrades in live production environments.
 * Understanding of ITIL change management and rollback procedures.
 * Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Experience within utilities, energy or critical infrastructure environments would be advantageous, as would Cisco certifications.

## Description

We are recruiting experienced Network Engineers to support a major infrastructure patching and vulnerability remediation programme within a large, business-critical environment.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on implementing network changes, upgrades and patching during planned overnight maintenance windows.

Key Responsibilities

 * Execute network patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation activities.
 * Implement approved infrastructure changes during overnight maintenance windows.
 * Perform pre- and post-change checks and validation testing.
 * Troubleshoot issues arising from patching and upgrades.
 * Maintain change records and handover documentation.
