## About the Role

* General & Delivery: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; strong product ownership and problem-solving mindset.

 * AI-Assisted Development: Expert user of modern AI development tools and techniques, with a strong desire to experiment, innovate, and maintain pristine code quality over time (strict adherence to high standards -no "slop!").

 * Server Side Engineering:

 * Strong production experience with Kotlin or Java server.

 * Hands-on expertise with Kafka, Project Reactor, and Spring Boot.

 * Proven experience designing and implementing REST and WebSocket streaming APIs.

 * Container orchestration and cloud platforms: Kubernetes (k8s ) and Azure.

 * Observability and monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.

 * Client-Side Engineering:

 * Proficiency in TypeScript and React.

 * Experience with automated end-to-end testing using Playwright.

 * An exceptional eye for detail, dedicated to delivering delightful user experiences ( UX ) with a performance-first mindset.

Nice-To-Have Skills

 * Domain knowledge in Foreign Exchange (FX ) or other electronic trading asset classes.

 * Experience in high-frequency, Real Time financial systems or event-driven architectures.

 * Contributions to open-source or internal platforms leveraging advanced AI coding workflows.
