## About the Role

* 8 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
 * Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
 * Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
 * Strong experience in Banking Payments domain.
 * Experience with Wire Payments, International/Cross-Border Payments, and SWIFT Network (MT/MX messages).
 * Good understanding of ISO 20022, CBPR , SWIFT messaging, payment life cycle, and settlement processes.
 * Experience with payment rails such as Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, SEPA, or RTP.
 * Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL.
 * Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
 * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
 * Knowledge of payment compliance, reconciliation, and transaction processing.
 * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

## Description

* We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience building enterprise applications in the Banking Payments domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka, along with experience developing payment processing solutions for wire transfers, international payments, and SWIFT-based transactions. Experience in core banking payment systems is required. Candidates with only credit card or merchant payment experience will not be considered.
