## About the Role

## Description

We have an immediate need for a Jr. Systems Engineer to provide onsite support in Alexandria, Virginia., The candidate will work with a team of system administrators and security professionals to deploy, configure, and maintain secure Windows and Linux systems. Maintain secure application and database servers in accordance with DISA STIGs. Work with software developers to deploy applications from development servers to production environments. Configure web servers to host a variety of applications. Administer and SQL Server databases. Develop and execute SQL scripts, backup and restore databases, and manage database permissions. Assist with managing organization cloud-based resources and support developers' access to applications and workspaces. Support the physical security team as needed by managing access tokens and performing routine security checks and other tasks.
