## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience including 2+ years of experience building cloud environments
 * Excellent Unix/Linux experience and programming experience with Go, C/C++, Java and scripting: Python, Ruby, Shell
 * Understanding of IPC mechanisms and previous experience working with: TCP/IP, Kafka, ZMQ, gRPC, ZooKeeper.
 * Strong background in cloud environments: containers, Docker, Kubernetes, etcd, ZooKeeper, service meshes, Vault, Istio and Envoy, API gateways, load balancers.
 * Experience with databases, general understanding of ACID, consistency, SQL/NoSQL, key-value stores, time series and columnar databases.
 * Experience in CI/CD, using tools like Drone, Github, Makefiles, etc.
 * Experience with in-memory databases like Redis
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Bonus points for experience with Node.js & Express to build REST APIs services, * BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred

_The API Protection Team (formerly Kloudless, Inc.) is responsible for accelerating support for SaaS apps across Netskope's CASB offering. We focus on key abstractions across the integration pipeline: Auth{n,z}, REST APIs, webhooks, and more. We use popular programming languages and cloud technologies in our stack: Go, Python, TypeScript, Angular, React, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and more!
