## About the Role

* At least 5 years of experience in trust and safety tooling or content moderation systems.
 * Proficiency in designing data structures, building algorithms, and at least one programming language (Go, Kotlin, C, or C++).
 * Great communication and teamwork skills.
 * Demonstrated passion for user safety, human moderation, AI moderation, and operational efficiency., * Experience with web development and frontend technologies.
 * Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to online safety (DSA, etc.).
 * Experience working with machine learning models and data pipelines.

## Description

As an Engineer on our User Safety team, you'll design and build internal systems to protect our users, support data collection, and ensure compliance with global regulations. You'll join a small, fast-paced team where you'll have the freedom to be creative and develop innovative safety tools that make a real impact.

At amo, we're building social apps that bring friends together, and ensuring user safety is a critical part of our mission. You'll work directly with our User Safety lead to create the infrastructure that keeps our community safe.

What you'll do

 * Design and build highly-scalable, efficient, and robust trust and safety platforms and tools, including data tracking pipelines.
 * Develop systems to enhance data collection, compliance, and safety processes.
 * Create APIs and integrations with third-party services.
 * Create intelligent workflows including automating complex decision-making processes.
 * Understand product objectives to develop user-friendly platforms that align with operational needs.
 * Ensure safety services have zero downtime and can scale as our user base grows.
