The role requires full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations and includes occasional unscheduled or emergency work. Successful candidate must live 30 miles from the Kosci Compressor Station in order to respond to call-outs. Responsibilities include maintaining assigned tools and equipment, promoting safe work practices, and serving as a project lead when required. The position requires self-motivation, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and meeting company-established physical and educational standards. Specific duties include valve and flow control inspections, tank gauging, maintenance and calibration of measurement and metering equipment, and inspection of over-pressure protection systems. The role performs all assigned measurement, mechanical, and E&I tasks, along with preventive maintenance for compressor and meter station operations. The position also involves identifying and reporting abnormal or unsafe operating conditions, completing accident and near-miss reporting, and participating in emergency response activities. This role regularly leads projects and is responsible for making equipment-related decisions within the assigned area, with corresponding authority and accountability. Duties include maintaining required compliance documentation and successfully completing all Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks specifically assigned to the position. The position primarily supports the assigned area but may occasionally assist other areas as needed. It is subject to periodic call-outs and schedule adjustments based on operational requirements. The role also requires completion of Core Block training in Safety, Environmental, and Company policies and procedures.
