## About the Role

* BS degree and two (2) years of practical experience; six (6) years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree, * Experience testing web applications, APIs, and database-driven systems
 * Familiarity with Agile software development processes
 * Understanding of software testing methodologies and defect tracking processes
 * Experience with test management or defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL (ability to query databases for validation)
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 * Desire to continuously improve testing practices and technical skill sets

## Description

SAIC is seeking a Software Tester to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate team located onsite at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL., * Plan, develop, and execute test cases for web applications, APIs, and supporting database components

 * Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing following Agile software development principles
 * Document test results, track defects, and verify resolution through collaboration with developers
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement
 * Validate integration with Microsoft SQL databases and verify data integrity across systems
 * Support test automation initiatives where applicable
