## Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows System Administrator to join our contract IT team. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of hands-on experience managing Windows environments and a strong understanding of SQL databases. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our Windows-based infrastructure and supporting SQL systems that are critical to business operations., Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows patching.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.Implement, support and maintain backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery plans.Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments.Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts for system automation and reporting.
Collaborate with development and application teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
Collaborate with customers, adjcent technical teams and all level of managment to address systems issues.
Maintain security best practices, including system hardening and vulnerability management.
Produce documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change controls.
