## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
 * Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
 * U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract., * Previous experience working in the aerospace or defense industry, preferably in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or business performance analysis.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience analyzing financial data and presenting results effectively.
 * Experience working in a cross-functional or multi-responsibility organization, partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
 * Experience with financial reporting systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, financial modeling, variance analysis, and cost management.
 * Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information, identify improvement opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.

## Description

* Conduct economic research and analyze financial data, including rates of return, depreciation, investment performance, and key financial indicators, to support business planning and decision-making.
 * Review and analyze profit-and-loss statements, financial reports, and performance metrics to identify trends, assess results, and recommend actions to improve profitability and cost management.
 * Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models across sales, finance, operations, supply chain, programs, engineering, and other business functions.
 * Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate business performance, provide financial insights, and support strategic and operational initiatives.
 * Research economic trends, market conditions, and business developments to identify risks and opportunities and support long-term financial planning.
 * Develop financial models and what-if scenarios to evaluate business decisions, including new product development, market opportunities, investments, and pricing strategies.
 * Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support pricing decisions, sales initiatives, cost reduction opportunities, Capex and Opex investments and business growth.
 * Analyze cost structures, financial variances, and operating results to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost management, and overall financial performance.
 * Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business partners and leadership to support informed decision-making.
 * Develop, maintain, and improve financial reporting systems, analytical tools, and processes to enhance data accuracy, reporting efficiency, financial controls, and continuous improvement.
