## About the Role

Database Administration, Microsoft SQL Server DBA (Database Administration), Automation, Server Programming/Applications, Work From Home, Relational Databases (RDBMS), Best Practices, Database Administration, Database Optimization, Query Optimization, * 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA and/or Developer in enterprise environments.

 * Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, including complex query development, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.
 * Deep understanding of SQL Server architecture, internals, and high availability solutions such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups, clustering, and replication.
 * Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for automation, monitoring, and administrative task optimization.

## Description

We're seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA / Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on expertise to join our dynamic team. This role is key to ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our database infrastructure, while continuously driving automation and operational efficiency.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position offering the perfect balance of three days in the office and two days working from home.

What you will be doing:

 * Install, configure, and maintain relational Database environments in alignment with industry best practices and organizational standards.
 * Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization; manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
 * Implement and enforce robust security controls, including access management, encryption, and auditing, to safeguard sensitive data.
 * Prioritize and propose automated solutions over manual controls as a mandatory practice, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and reduced operational risk.
 * Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance database solutions.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues to ensure high availability, reliability, and minimal downtime.
 * Support deployment activities and provide production support for enterprise-scale systems, including incident response and root cause analysis.
 * Drive automation initiatives to streamline routine database administration tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, or other industry-standard tools.
 * Ensure compliance with data governance frameworks, security policies, and internal standards, including documentation and audit readiness
 * Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and support production incident management as part of a shared responsibility model.
