## About the Role

* Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and software development life cycles (SDLCs)
 * Deep knowledge of cloud platforms and experience building and operating cloud-native services
 * Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, or other object-oriented programming (OOP) languages
 * Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and related tooling
 * Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform or CloudFormation
 * Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
 * Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL
 * Experience building and integrating with REST APIs, focusing on maintainability, availability, and security

Desired skills:

 * Significant experience in cybersecurity across multiple domains, with a focus on cloud security and integrating controls as code
 * Experience in secure coding practices, authentication protocols, cryptography, identity and access management, and security testing
 * Hands-on experience with agent-first development (AI/ML)

## Description

* Design, develop, and integrate solutions to gather security control evidence across multiple cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
 * Identify security controls for CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments to prevent misconfigurations and enforce security standards
 * Develop and deliver software solutions using Java and/or Python that meet functional, non-functional, and regulatory compliance requirements
 * Manage vulnerabilities, including hands-on experience with SCA, SAST, and DAST for identification and remediation
 * Engage in CI/CD activities, automating build, test, and release pipelines and integrating security best practices
 * Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure software quality through comprehensive testing and code reviews
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver secure, maintainable capabilities
 * Demonstrate cloud environment compliance with internal controls and regulatory obligations through robust reporting and dashboards
