The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in business intelligence and visualization, hands-on experience with Databricks and modern data engineering technologies, and the ability to independently lead analytics use cases from requirements through delivery. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, embraces new challenges, and is equally comfortable leading an effort or rolling up their sleeves to help others succeed., * Strong expertise in data visualization and business intelligence, with advanced proficiency in at least one of Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI and the ability to learn additional platforms * Hands-on experience with Databricks, including data preparation, transformation, analysis, and pipeline development * Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for data engineering and analytical workflows * Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, data modeling, and modern data architectures * Intermediate-level analytics project management experience, with demonstrated ability to independently lead a use case, coordinate activities, manage priorities, and deliver results * Experience engaging directly with customers to gather requirements, communicate technical concepts, and translate business needs into analytical solutions * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills * Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies, tools, and business domains * Collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to step outside primary responsibilities to support team and customer success * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * B.S. in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field * Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, or a related field * Must have an active Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship) * Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen Desired skills for this position: * Experience with multiple visualization platforms, particularly Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI * Experience with enterprise platforms and cloud environments (such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP) * Familiarity with Delta Lake, medallion architecture, and modern data lakehouse practices * Experience developing reusable analytical solutions and automating data workflows * Familiarity with Generative AI and AI-assisted analytics tools * Experience supporting Department of Defense, sustainment, logistics, or industrial operations analytics * Experience mentoring teammates and providing technical leadership within a collaborative delivery team ## Description * Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or similar platforms * Lead individual data analytics use cases from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and customer adoption * Partner directly with customers to understand business challenges, identify analytical opportunities, and translate requirements into actionable technical solutions * Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement * Support development and optimization of data pipelines, transformations, and analytical datasets using Databricks, Python, SQL, and PySpark * Design and maintain reliable, scalable data models and workflows that support business intelligence and advanced analytics * Coordinate use case activities, priorities, timelines, and deliverables while proactively communicating progress, risks, and recommendations * Ensure data quality, accuracy, performance, and usability across analytical solutions * Present analytical findings, dashboard demonstrations, and technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences * Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions * Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and reusable components to improve delivery efficiency and customer outcomes * Support teammates across technical and functional areas, contributing wherever needed to achieve team success
