Produces and quality-assures AutoCAD drawing packages, coordinates AV systems with architectural and construction documentation, validates bills of materials, manages revisions and standards deviations, responds to RFIs, and supports installation, commissioning, and handover. The role requires independent CAD production, AV systems expertise, strong QA/QC, stakeholder coordination, and technical problem-solving., The Technical Lead, AV / AV Design Engineer serves as the regional technical subject matter expert and hands-on design resource for Microsoft audiovisual conference room deployments in the Puget Sound region. The role owns the production, validation, and quality assurance of room-specific AV drawing packages and associated technical documentation from design development through installation, commissioning, and handover. This is not a drawing-review-only position. The successful candidate must be able to independently produce accurate AutoCAD deliverables, adapt Microsoft standard room designs to actual architectural conditions, coordinate with architects and construction stakeholders, and release complete packages without requiring extensive corrective review by the Regional Lead or customer.
