At least 5 years, * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

 * 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with success in developing various software systems.
 * Experience in developing control and monitoring applications utilizing custom register interfaces and TCP protocols
 * Experience developing Ignition and SCADA GUI Applications.
 * Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting complex software systems in mixed environments including Linux, Unix, and/or Windows.
 * Experience with TCP/IP debugging and ICDs.
 * Hands-on work with communication protocols, high power, lab/test equipment, schematics, and board-level parts.
 * Ability to obtain an active secret clearance, Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

## Description

* Develop software solutions by collaborating with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and anticipating problem areas using the software development lifecycle.
 * Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problem definitions, requirements, and proposed solutions.
 * Document and demonstrate solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
 * Stay updated with state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment through educational opportunities, professional publications, and networking.
 * Support the organization by providing advice, coaching, and participating in product/system design reviews.

 * Report any quality problems or defects to management to implement corrective action and avoid recurrence.
