We work with high-growth DTC (direct-to-consumer) ecommerce brands across conversion rate optimisation (CRO), website design, landing pages and A/B testing. Most of our clients are on monthly retainers, and almost everything we design exists for one reason: to help a brand's online store make more money. We use AI heavily across the business, and we expect everyone on the team to as well., As our Ecommerce Designer, you'll design anything a Shopify store needs, for several brands at once, often switching between them in the same day. Work is briefed in by strategists and account managers, with priorities set by your pod's account manager. Your designs are handed to developers to build and presented to clients by the account manager. You'll report to MD, who acts as a line manager for the design team., * Design sections, widgets, full pages, product page improvements, A/B test variations, look and feel exercises and every type of landing page * Make every design easy to use, on brand and built to convert, and be able to explain each decision through a UX and CRO lens * Apply the same principles to more brand-led clients, such as fashion brands, without losing sight of conversion Landing Pages & Funnels * Build advertorials, listicles, quiz funnels and other landing pages that perform * Know what separates a good landing page from a bad one: structure, section length, time to the buy area, calls to action, imagery and information architecture Brand Ownership & Design Systems * Own and maintain the design language for every brand in your pod * Keep each brand's design system consistent, and help improve a brand's look where the client is open to it Speed, Accuracy & Handover * Work fast and accurately across a high-volume, varied workload. We bill clients by the hour, so speed and precision both matter * Context-switch quickly between brands, and between quick tasks and bigger projects in the same week * Hand over clearly so developers build designs as intended and account managers can present them with confidence * Push back on unclear briefs, take feedback well and iterate
