## About the Role

* 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
 * Strong expertise in SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, CTEs, window functions, and complex joins.
 * Experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
 * Good understanding of database design, normalization, and data modeling.
 * Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or scripting using Python/PowerShell is a plus.
 * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
 * Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery concepts.
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with cloud database platforms such as Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.
 * Knowledge of reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau is an advantage.

 * Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and recovery procedures.
 * Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and data-related issues.
 * Create technical documentation for database objects and processes.
 * Participate in code reviews and implement database development best practices.
