## About the Role

 * Proficiency in dbt and Snowflake for cloud data transformation, modeling, and modernization initiatives.
 * Experience with migrating legacy Oracle databases and data platforms to Snowflake using dbt.
 * Experience with ETL/ELT development, data mappings, transformations, job scheduling, and pipeline troubleshooting.
 * Experience in database infrastructure, backup and recovery, security, performance tuning, and cloud architecture.

## Description

* Lead migration of legacy Oracle databases and warehouse workloads to the Snowflake cloud platform.
 * Build and optimize dbt models, transformations, and data pipelines for scalable cloud analytics.
 * Design, schedule, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT processes and source-to-target data mappings.
 * Manage database performance, security, backup, recovery, and infrastructure reliability across environments.
 * Coach engineering team members on cloud data architecture standards and engineering best practices.
 * Coordinate UAT activities and drive migration deliverables through validation, approval, and completion.
