## About the Role

* Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS Storage Management.
 * Hands-on experience with Hitachi Disk Storage (HDS/VSP, USP, VSP G Series).
 * Experience administering IBM Virtual Tape System (VTS) or Virtual Tape Library (VTL).
 * Strong understanding of DFSMS, SMS, ACS routines, and Storage Groups.
 * Experience with DASD management, allocation, migration, and performance tuning.
 * Knowledge of backup and recovery processes for mainframe storage environments.
 * Experience with storage monitoring and capacity planning.

## Description

* Coordinate storage-related software and hardware upgrades.
 * Troubleshoot storage incidents and resolve complex production issues.
 * Work closely with system programmers, application teams, and infrastructure teams during project implementations.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and storage standards.
 * Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and operational policies.
 * Participate in on-call production support and maintenance activities as required.
