## About the Role

* 6+ years of hands-on experience building Java backend applications (Java 17+), backed by a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
 * Proficiency in the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud.
 * Strong knowledge of SQL and relational or NoSQL database management, with experience optimizing queries and data models.
 * Understanding of in-memory data loading techniques and efficient data joining strategies for large-scale pipelines.
 * Knowledge of Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle, testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito, and dependency management.
 * Experience applying design patterns and architectural principles such as microservices and event-driven architecture, using Test-Driven Development and tools such as SonarQube to maintain code quality.
 * Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

 * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
 * Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
 * Knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink.
 * Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
