## About the Role

* 8+ years of professional experience as a fullstack or backend engineer in a product-focused environment
 * Deep expertise in either Kotlin, Java, or Scala.
 * Significant experience with distributed systems. You know how to build and maintain scalable, resilient services that work together.
 * Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka).
 * Good experience of relational databases, such as Postgres.
 * Comfortable working with APIs, relational databases, and docker
 * A product mindset, you care about the why behind what you're building and optimizing for user impact
 * Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in crafting great user experiences
