## About the Role

Design and implement next-generation cloud platforms using Linux, Kubernetes and enterprise container technologies.

Are you an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong background in Red Hat technologies? Do you enjoy working on complex enterprise IT environments, implementing container platforms and advising customers on modern infrastructure solutions?

For an international technology environment in Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with extensive experience in Linux, OpenShift and automation., 1. Several years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Linux Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.

 2. Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat technologies, particularly:
 3. Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
 4. Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
 5. Ansible Automation Platform
 6. Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, containers and enterprise cloud infrastructure.
 7. Experience designing, implementing and managing container platforms in large-scale IT environments.
 8. Strong understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, security and high-availability architectures.
 9. Experience with automation, DevOps, CI/CD and application onboarding.
 10. Experience in a technical consulting or customer-facing engineering role.
 11. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
 12. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
 13. Willingness to travel to customer locations within Switzerland.

Language requirements - essential:

 1. Fluent German (C1/C2 level) - mandatory. You must be able to communicate confidently with German-speaking customers, lead technical workshops and discuss complex IT architectures.
 2. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

## Description

In this customer-facing role, you will work on challenging infrastructure and cloud transformation projects, helping organizations build secure, scalable and highly available platforms., 1. Design, implement and automate enterprise container platforms and cloud application environments.

 2. Develop and deploy infrastructure solutions covering networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring and high availability.
 3. Implement and optimize Kubernetes-based platforms, with a strong focus on OpenShift.
 4. Work with enterprise Linux environments, automation and infrastructure management solutions.
 5. Advise customers on technical architecture, infrastructure strategy and cloud transformation.
 6. Support application teams in migrating and onboarding applications onto modern container platforms.
 7. Introduce and improve DevOps practices, Continuous Delivery and application lifecycle management.
 8. Lead technical discussions, workshops and customer engagements.
 9. Take responsibility for complex technical challenges, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
 10. Translate customer requirements into technical designs and deliver complete solutions from architecture through implementation and deployment.
 11. Ensure high-quality project delivery, including technical documentation and progress reporting.
 12. Keep up to date with developments in cloud-native technologies and the open-source ecosystem.
