## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience building distributed backend systems using Java or C++, with exposure to Python
 * Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and event-driven architectures
 * Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka
 * Hands-on experience building data-intensive systems, ETL pipelines, and analytical data solutions
 * Strong SQL and data modelling skills
 * Proven ability to own complex technical domains from design through production support
 * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, * Experience with post-trade workflows, including reconciliation, settlement, booking, or regulatory reporting
 * Background in financial services, proprietary trading, or market making
 * Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Airflow, Spark, Flink, or similar technologies
 * Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry

## Description

* Own and develop critical post-trade domains such as reconciliation, settlement, booking, and reporting
 * Work closely with Trading, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams to understand workflows and requirements
 * Design and build scalable backend services and data pipelines
 * Improve automation, data quality, resilience, and operational efficiency
 * Contribute to the target architecture and technical roadmap of the post-trade platform
 * Ensure observability, reliability, and data correctness across systems
