JavaScript or TypeScript is ideal. * Practical experience building web applications, front end and back end. * Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools, with a view of where they help, where they don't, and how you check their output. * Confident with Git and GitHub-style pull-request workflows. * A habit of writing tests and caring whether your code is readable. * Clear communication, and comfort asking questions and taking feedback. Nice to have * React (our front-end framework), Node.js and REST API experience. * Cloud experience, especially AWS or serverless. * Experience with Atlassian Forge, or of the Atlassian or monday.com ecosystems as a user or developer. * Java, for our Data Center apps. * Something you've built with an LLM API, at work or on your own time. * Experience with agentic workflows beyond chat, for example MCP servers or custom tooling around Claude Code or Cursor. * A good grasp of data structures, algorithms and databases. ## Description You'll be a full-stack engineer in one of our product teams. You'll work across the front end, back end and cloud infrastructure of apps that thousands of organisations use daily. You'll own features from first conversation to production, and you'll have senior engineers around you who want to see you grow. What you'll do * Design and build features across the stack. Smaller ones you'll own end to end, and larger ones you'll build with support from senior engineers. * Use AI coding assistants and agentic tools (Claude Code, Cursor and the like) as a normal part of your work, for writing, testing, refactoring and understanding code. You stay the engineer of record for what ships. * Write unit and integration tests as a matter of course, and contribute to end-to-end testing. * Find and fix bugs, including the awkward ones that only show up in production. * Give and receive useful code reviews. We run small, frequent releases through CI/CD, and review is how we keep the quality bar high. * Work in our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Atlassian Forge, and pick up more of it over time. * Help build AI-powered features into our products as we develop them. How we work * In small agile product teams, working closely with Product. * With customers in mind. You'll understand who uses what you build, and you'll talk to them directly when it helps. * Openly. Flag blockers and scope changes early, ask questions when the docs run out, and write down what you learn so the next person doesn't have to work it out again. * Always learning. We expect you to work towards recognised certifications, such as AWS, and we'll pay for the books and courses that get you there.
