## About the Role

* Strong Python development experience.
 * Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs.
 * Exposure to frameworks such as Django, FastAPI or similar.
 * AWS cloud experience.
 * Understanding of distributed systems, object-oriented design and software engineering best practices.
 * Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL.
 * Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes or containerised environments would be advantageous.
 * Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Designing and building scalable backend services using Python.
 * Developing cloud-native applications within AWS environments.
 * Contributing to system design, architecture and engineering standards.
 * Working closely with Product, Design and wider business teams.
 * Supporting code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Building solutions within a modern microservices architecture.
 * Mentoring engineers and sharing technical knowledge across the team.
