## About the Role

* Understanding of a solution development lifecycle for complex systems, with several years' experience of SW development utilising an Agile methodology
 * Ability to derive and manage SW Requirements
 * Ability to Design a SW solution that meets the operational needs/requirements
 * Demonstrable skills in SW development (Java/C++ in a Linux environment)
 * Use of industry standard tooling for SW Development (IDEs, Unit Test frameworks, Static analysis etc)
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * An ability to work as a key member of the team
 * A desire to take responsibility for your professional development

Desirable requirements:

 * Awareness of real time constraints in software development
 * A knowledge of Software Architectures and Design Patterns
 * Experience in Defence or other Engineering Industries

Minimum Educational Requirements

Degree in a relevant subject e.g. Software Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Engineering.
