## About the Role

* Strong experience developing applications in Java with Spring or Spring Boot
 * Experience with SQL, and Oracle technologies in particular
 * Good grasp of object-oriented programming principles
 * Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and full SDLC delivery
 * Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
 * A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Desirable

 * Angular or AWS experience
 * Oracle PL/SQL or Forms (for the database-focused roles)
 * Experience in a regulated environment

## Description

* Craigavon-based. On site five days a week for the first six months, then hybrid (five office days a fortnight)
 * Java and Spring Boot first, with Angular or AWS a bonus
 * Work on a major new cloud platform and the products that keep the business moving
 * Must have UK right to work, * Design, build and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
 * Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to production
 * Work with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL for some roles
 * Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve code quality and testing
 * Collaborate with product, business and engineering colleagues
 * Explain technical decisions clearly, and share knowledge with the team
 * Pick up cloud-native and AWS work as the platform grows
