## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

 * Strong experience supporting all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
 * Experience building modern web applications using:

 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, * Experience building cloud-native applications on GCP or similar cloud platforms
 * Familiarity with observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, App Insights, or OpenTelemetry

## Description

We're seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our Advisor Services Client Experience Engineering organization. This role will help shape and deliver next-generation digital experiences that support key advisor and client journeys across Charles Schwab's platforms.
As a member of a highly collaborative Agile team, you'll design and build modern web applications, APIs, and cloud-enabled services while helping drive engineering excellence through automation, observability, AI-assisted development, and modern architecture patterns.
This is an opportunity to work on business-critical applications that directly impact client experience, advisor productivity, and Schwab's digital transformation initiatives.
You'll have the autonomy to influence technical direction, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor teammates, and help modernize how software is built, tested, and deployed.

Build Innovative Digital Experiences

 * Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications and APIs
 * Deliver modern user experiences using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
