 * Knowledge of Advanced SQL and Database design (window functions, CTEs, query optimization, performance tuning, dimensional modeling)
 * Knowledge of advanced Excel: Power Query, nested logic, dynamic arrays
 * Knowledge of Tableau: LOD expressions, data blending, dashboard actions, executive-ready storytelling
 * Knowledge of R and Python for data wrangling, pipeline automation and statistical/predictive modeling
 * Knowledge of User Experience Design for analytics products
 * Knowledge of Jira and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices; cross-functional collaboration
 * Knowledge of Hospital operating room workflow, either from experience as a clinician working in an operating room or as a data analyst working with operating room data and problems
 * Knowledge of Validation & QA methods for self-generated and peer content (reconciliation, anomaly detection, unit checks)
 * Knowledge of Healthcare billing & clinical coding: ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, MS-DRG assignment logic
 * Knowledge of Claims data analysis and surgical cohort definition, integrating financial data with case data
 * Knowledge of the National Surgical Databases and Registries (Seer Medicare, NTDB, HCUP, TQIP): extracting, transforming, and statistically benchmarking vs. internal clinical outcomes
 * Knowledge of report automation, KPI design, stakeholder enablement
 * Knowledge of GIS-based socioeconomic scoring methods (ADI, SVI) leveraging US Census data

## Description

* Serve as the primary data analyst supporting management-level leadership of a system business or clinical domain.
 * Utilize deep clinical and technical expertise in leveraging healthcare data to provide data insights and solutions to customers and the organization.
 * Utilize advanced SQL ability to develop technical products and enable strategic initiatives and operational targets.
 * Ensure the integrity and accuracy of customer data.
 * Create visually appealing, content rich and consumer centric reports and dashboards using Cognos and Tableau.
 * Drive information insights through data exploration, interpretation, report development, and visual storytelling.
 * Provide ongoing training, maintenance, monitoring, and promotion of data applications and reports to ensure that data insights are widely known, accessible, and useful across the organization.
 * Facilitate regular meetings with customer stakeholders to provide work updates, set project priorities, establish deliverable timelines, and ensure customer priorities are understood and resourced.
 * Proactively analyze data to answer key questions on business performance and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity.
